Camp Futuwwah at Maryam Islamic Center is designed to cultivate confident, principled, and purpose-driven young Muslim men through Islamic learning, mentorship, hands-on workshops, and physical training. Participants will strengthen their faith while developing leadership skills, discipline, and real-world competence.

What makes Maryam Islamic Center unique:

  • Character-Centered Growth: A multi-day series on Vices of the Tongue with Ustadah Sameera Shah focused on developing strong Islamic character and self-discipline.
  • Professional Mentorship: Interactive sessions with Muslim professionals in artificial intelligence, technology, business, and engineering, offering insight into future careers and emerging industries.
  • Hands-On Learning & Physical Development: Engineering design challenges and Jiu-Jitsu workshops that build teamwork, problem-solving skills, confidence, and resilience.

Camp Futuwwah at Masjid Al-Aqsa emphasizes anchoring young Muslim men in their faith while giving them the tools to confidently navigate the digital world. The spiritual heart of the camp features daily foundational Islamic reminders led by Imam Zaid Noor.

What makes Masjid Al-Aqsa unique:

  • Advanced Media Literacy: A major, multi-day series titled “Decoding Media: Navigating Information in the Digital Age” presented by Br. Faisal Shah, specifically designed to help young men think critically about modern digital content and narratives.
  • Dynamic Tech Consulting: A deep dive into emerging technology careers and AI trends with global technology consultant Br. Salman Nini from Accenture.
  • Active Mentorship: Built-in interactive team games, outdoor Basketball with Hafiz Zaid, and frequent engineering challenges to forge lasting bonds of brotherhood and community connection.
