Green Deen: Caring for Allah’s Creation
In this interactive class, students will explore the hidden world of water systems—from raindrops and rivers to groundwater and oceans—through a powerful Islamic lens. Through hands-on experiments, simulations, and real-world case studies, students will investigate how water moves through our environment and how human actions can protect or harm it.
Students will take on the role of scientists and detectives—tracking pollution, analyzing environmental impact, and discovering solutions—while connecting their learning to Qur’anic guidance and Prophetic teachings on stewardship, balance, and responsibility.
The class will culminate in a student-led action project, where participants will educate others on real environmental issues and how we, as Muslims, can care for Allah’s creation.
