MOMMY BURNOUT
A Journey from Burnout to Barakah
Motherhood can be beautiful—and still be exhausting.
You can love your children deeply and still feel overwhelmed, overstimulated, irritable, or completely drained. You can be grateful for motherhood and still miss the woman you used to be. You can have faith in Allah and still struggle to feel peaceful.
If you’ve been running on empty, you are not alone.
Mommy Burnout is our popular flagship course for mothers. Offered several times over the years, it has helped many women step out of survival mode and reconnect with their purpose, relationships, and well-being.
Rooted in Qur’anic guidance, Prophetic wisdom, and practical insights from psychology, this seven-session journey offers a compassionate space to slow down, breathe, and realign your life with what matters most.
This is not another course telling you to do more. It is an invitation to release what is weighing you down and move through motherhood with greater clarity, connection, and trust in Allah.
This Course May Be for You If…
- You feel mentally overloaded or emotionally exhausted
- You are carrying an invisible mental load that no one seems to notice
- You feel guilty that you are not doing enough
- You find yourself yelling or reacting more than you would like
- You struggle with comparison or the pressure to be a “perfect” mother
- You want to feel more connected to your children, spouse, or community
- You miss feeling like yourself
- You want to reconnect with Allah without turning faith into another item on your to-do list
What We’ll Explore
Session 1: Rediscover Your Why
Seeing Motherhood Through the Lens of the Akhirah
Reconnect with your purpose, identity, and values while learning to see motherhood as a meaningful act of worship. We’ll reflect on what it means to seek barakah instead of constantly chasing productivity.
Session 2: Why Am I So Tired?
Understanding the External Sources of Burnout
Explore how the mental load, constant interruptions, information overload, comparison, and unrealistic expectations contribute to exhaustion. Begin creating healthier boundaries and releasing burdens Allah never asked you to carry.
Session 3: The Weight We Carry
Understanding the Internal Sources of Burnout
Gently examine the grief, shame, fear, and perfectionism that often go unspoken. Learn how self-compassion, acceptance, and tawakkul can help you make peace with what you cannot control.
Session 4: Calm in the Chaos
Finding Peace When Everything Feels Like Too Much
Better understand stress, anger, anxiety, emotional triggers, and “mom guilt.” Discover psychological and faith-centered tools that can help you regulate your emotions and respond with greater calm and intention.
Session 5: Less Yelling. More Connecting.
Raising Children While Healing Ourselves
Learn to parent from your values rather than from fear or pressure. We’ll explore emotional connection, repairing after difficult moments, and breaking unhealthy generational patterns with mercy and ihsan.
Session 6: Becoming Cherished
Cultivating Love, Respect, and Connection
Featuring Guest Speaker Sr. Heba
Explore how to nurture sakinah, mercy, and emotional connection within marriage. Learn how communication, affection, appreciation, and small intentional habits can create a more peaceful emotional climate at home.
Session 7: Replenishing the Well
Caring for Your Mind, Body, Heart, and Soul
Discover a more sustainable approach to caring for yourself as a whole person. We’ll reflect on worship, rest, nourishment, meaningful companionship, and the everyday rhythms that allow mothers to flourish.
What You’ll Take Away
Our hope is that you leave this course better equipped to:
- Recognize what is contributing to your burnout
